A review ol coil occlusion of PDAs (≤ 5.3 mm in diameter) in 33 patients using an antegrade approach via a 4F venous sheath with multiple coils used in larger PDAs. There was 4.7% residual shunt by Doppler follow-up and some degree of left pulmonary artery obstruction in two patients in whom five coils were placed.
