Angiographic studies showed the cumulative patency of radial artery grafts to be 93% at a mean follow-up of 10.4 months.

A total of 165 patients who underwent radial artery reconstruction showed a low incidence of perioperative myocardial infarction, mortality, and recurrent angina. Radionuclide exercise studies performed 12 months after surgery in 84 patients showed few stress-induced defects.
