Sexual preference for child and aggressive stimuli: Comparison of rapists and child molesters using auditory and visual stimuli
-
Miner MH, West M, Day DM: Sexual preference for child and aggressive stimuli: comparison of rapists and child molesters using auditory and visual stimuli. Behav Res Ther 1995; 33:545-551. An excellent study showing the ability of phallometric assessment to discriminate between child molesters and rapists. Child molesters with male victims showed the most offense-related profiles and rapists responded more to nonsexual assault and rape than child molesters.
