    • Abbreviations and nomenclature: RNase RNAP Rh, RNase Rh with an extra 3 amino acid residues, Ala-Ser-Gly, at the N-terminus. Nomenclature of the mutant enzyme produced by site-directed mutagenesis of RNase RNAP Rh: Mutant enzymes whose amino acid at the ith residue (X) is substituted by Y as a result of site-directed mutagenesis are abbreviated as XiY. Thus K108T is a mutant enzyme in which the lysine residue at the 108th position has been replaced by threonine.
