The outcome of early vitrectomy in vitreous hemorrhage secondary to proliferative diabetic retinopathy benefits from better surgical instrumentation including endolaser photocoagulation. The authors are aware of the limitations of their small study group, the retrospective nature of the study, and lack of a control cohort.

This paper reports intraocular hemorrhage associated with sexual activity. This included vitreous, preretinal, and intraretinal hemorrhage.
