For detection of total Ig, affinity-purified goat antibody to mouse IgG+A+M (H+L) from Zymed was used; the isotype-specific antibodies for detection of IgG1 and IgG2a were from Southern Biotech Associates and IgM was from Sigma. Para-nitrophenyl phosphate was used for the development of the colonmetric reaction.
