51. Twenty-three individuals failed to respond to the smoking questions and were excluded. In total there were 5848 non-smokers, and 2942 regular smokers. The survey also recorded 190 individuals as 'occasional smokers' (fewer than one a day). Here, these people are coded as smokers with a quantity of 0.5 cigarettes per day.
