1. Most regulationists maintain that there are a number of different forms of crisis, ranging from a crisis for a unit of capital through to an (as yet unrealized) crisis of capitalism itself (Dunford 1990; Tickell and Peck 1992).
2. Significantly, this geographical variability within regimes of accumulation requires a conception of spatially uneven development to be located with the regulationist framework, one absent from the original theorization (Peck and Tickell 1992).
