    • In case of the device reported in Ref. 11, the switch-off time is limited by the length of the nonlinear waveguide (∼5 picoseconds for a typical waveguide length of 500 μm), because the signal pulse and the control pulse counterpropagate through the nonlinear waveguide. This limitation in speed is not present in the present device
