Specificity and longevity of antitumor immune responses induced by B7-transfected tumors
-
of outstanding interest, This paper describes aspects of the immunity induced by several B7-1 transfected tumor cell lines. It shows that the longevity of protection differs in two different tumor models. Cross-protection is reported in two different tumor models. Elimination of a pre-existing tumor is also demonstrated. Finally, this paper reports that irradiation greatly diminishes immunogenicity of B7-transfected tumor cells.

Antitumor immunity elicited by tumor cells transfected with B7-2, a second ligand for CD28/CTLA-4 costimulatory molecules
-
of special interest, This paper demonstrates that B7-2 expression can result in tumor rejection and in induction of immunity in a manner similar to that of B7-1.
