- In silica gel column chromatography, the major isomer lk-5a was obtained from the less polar eluent (hexane-EtOAc: 6:1 v/v). Change of polarity of the solvent was needed to get the minor one ul-5a (hexane-EtOAc: 3:1 v/v). This tendency is general for the other cycloadducts discussed in this report.
