12. To check for reproducibility, the gas-phase deposition experiment was repeated nine times with each experiment resulting in the same crystalline packing structure. The symmetry and dimensions of the unit cell are not sensitive to changes in the sign or magnitude of the bias voltage over a range of ±(200-400) mV. The distorted lattice in the upper-left corner of Fig. 1(a) is an artifact of repeated scanning in that location. The dark region in lower-right of Fig. 1(a) represents the edge of the domain.
