[l] of head-on collisions between two concentric cylindrical and spherical ion acoustic solitary waves, the authors only derived Boussinesqlike equations in cylindrical and spherical geometries under the assumption of potential flow (see Appendix 4 and some comments in pages 303 and 324 of Ref. [1]). Nothing is said about the phase shifts due to the collision.
