    • As shown in Table I, the mole content (5.5%) of the functional monomeric unit (DMAEA) in the PBN-1 particles, which was determined by separating the particles from the water phase of the polymer emulsion, was much lower than that in the feed (DMAEA/BA (mol/mol) = 8.6/100), indicating the existence of water-soluble DMAEA-rich polymer in the aqueous phase of the emulsion, which could not be separated from water together with the particles.
