Puleng Thetela is a lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the National University of Lesotho in Southern Africa. At present she is undertaking research into the interpersonal aspects of written text at the University of Liverpool. Her main research interest is the management of interaction in written text on which she has recently co-authored an article published in Text, 15(1), (1995).
