For the structure of Fig. 2(c), there is indeed some reduction of the sym-metry. There are two additional nonequivalent directions, namely; (i) along "pseudo-wire" which corresponds to ΓK and the closest ΓM′ high-symmetry directions in 2D Brillouin zone, (ii) at 60° to the wire, ΓK′, and perpendicular to the wire, ΓM′. Appropriate eigenvalues along ΓK′ and ΓM′ are somewhat high on the energy scale, so that only one fragment of the band structure was shown for this special case.
