The lowest-order correction corresponds to an an intermediate two-particle state; each particle carries half the energy of the external scalar leg. In de Sitter spacetime (as in any time-dependent background) there is no possibility of writing a spectral representation. The similarity between de Sitter and finite temperature field theory in Minkowski space is therefore not an equivalence.
