Pellet preparation and specific heat measurements were carried out at AMES Laboratory, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. The following information was given regarding the details of the procedure. The powder was made by 10-15 min ball milling of the melt-spun ribbons. After that, it was sifted through a 50 μm sieve and manually mixed with 30 wt % of 10 μm Ag powder. The pellets with a thickness of 0.1-0.12 in. were compacted in a die (die diameter was 0.25 in.) under pressure 14 000-15 000 kg.
