    • A trace of hydrolysis products, mainly 3, was also formed due to incomplete exclusion of moisture, when the reactions were followed at 363.2 K for 5 d in sealed tubes. No sign of hydrolysis products was observed when the alkaline methanolysis was followed at 298.2 K for 1 h.
