Data from conference proceedings or quasi-elastic data are not used. We have found some publications fulfilling these criteria, but not present in the data base. These are de Pangher, J. Phys. 58. In the Northcliffe et al. paper [24], it was quoted as ±3% error in energy. We assume that this is a misprint, based on comparisons with Fig. 5 in their paper, and the Ritchie fit. If it were indeed a ±3% uncertainty, we get a ±14% error in the cross section.
