    • EPR samples are prepared by stirring 2-3 mg of the phenol ether with 50-70 mg of zeolite (NaZSM-5, thermally activated by calcination at 500°C for 12 h, and stored under argon) in 10 ml of 2,2,4-trimethylpentane for 2 h. The loaded zeolite is collected by filtration, washed with hexane and dried under vacuum (0.001 Torr).
