29. A satisfactory calculated spectrum was obtained assuming the existence of one diastereomer (Table 1) [Fig. 1(c)]. However, simulations assuming the presence of two diastereomers gave also reasonable calculated spectra. Owing to the poor resolution of the experimental spectra, it was not possible in these conditions to distinguish between the two hypotheses.
