19. Complexes 2 and 3 lead to the corresponding nickel complexes with non-innocent ligands in contrast to 1. This result can be attributed to a multiple CH/rc interaction by the tert-butyl group of 1 (CHIn interaction; tert-butyl group > methyl group).
