Long Live the Career
-
San Francisco: Jossey-Bass
-
In D. Hall's chapter, "Long Live the Career," as well as in the other chapters in his edited volume. The Career is Dead - Long Live the Career (San Francisco: Jossey-Bass, 1996), the emphasis centers around the idea that the traditional career is dead, but the idea of a career as a series of lifelong work experiences will never die. A relational approach to careers, based on the interdependence between individuals, will be at the foundation of future careers.
