    • By means of theoretical calculations, 1,2-adduct is stable than 1,16-adduct: see reference [6]f. In the case of bulky phenylsilyl radicals, inhibit the formation of cyclohexadienyl radicals. As a results, bulky phenylsilyl radicals react preferentially at the 16 position.
