    • note
    • In the case of our ZnS sample, the luminescence linewidths of both the exciton and the biexciton are broad. These broad linewidths result in the overlap between the exciton and the biexciton lines and make it difficult to fit the observed spectrum only using ideal Boltzmann and reverse Boltzmann distributions for the exciton and the biexciton lines, respectively. A tentative spectral analysis is currently under way.
