    • -1 is masked by a very strong O-H bending mode of the water molecule in our spectrometer. After purging the spectrometer with dry air and subtracting the residual water remaining after purging, it is difficult to justify its presence with certainty because, to start with, this IR active CNT band is also a weak line (0.02 absorbance unit or 95% transmission).
