When WP supporters were asked what in the party made them want to get involved, their replies included: the party meets people face-to-face and one-by-one; it wants to solve problems if it has enough power; the local party leadership is humble and values each individual regardless of status differences; it respects human rights and the Turkish Islamic tradition.
