This model is considered as a quantum model related to the antiferromagnetic four-state Potts model in a classical limit. The four-state Potts model is known to show a second-order phase transition to a two-sublattice ordered phase at a finite temperature. (See J. R. Banavar, G. S. Grest and D. Jasnow: Phys. Rev. B 25 (1981) 4639.) It is expected that the quantum fluctuation does not change such a finite-temperature behavior in the classical model.
