    • High-precision neutrino scattering data cannot be used to bound the first-generation LQ's because such data involve muon neutrinos almost exclusively. Data on νe-e scattering exist but are not very restrictive. Most theoretical analyses of neutral-current interactions, such as Ref. 42, assume universal neutrino couplings and care must be taken to extract limits on new interactions with flavor-violating couplings.

    • The search described here is actually for leptoquark bosons with Q= case 2 over 3 (but with similar couplings) so that the bounds on Q=- case 1 over 3 LQ's would be somewhat, but not dramatically, weaker.
