Conditions: capillary 90 cm (60 cm to the detector), 50 μm internal diameter; separation solution: 50 mM sodium deoxycholate in 6 mM borate buffer pH 9 containing 35 mM α-cyclodextrin, applied voltage 25 kV; UV detection at 282 nm; retention times for the enantiomers of 4 28.7 min and 29.6 min, for 3 31.1 min. Under these conditions only the separation of the two enantiomers of 4 was achieved.
