    • In NOM, the resolution becomes higher with decreasing separation between the sample and the aperture. Therefore, the diameter of the spot seen in the image is expected to be made smaller by decreasing the thickness of the cap layer.

    • We observe several QDs simultaneously since the dot density is rather high. The number of dots in the detection area is estimated to be 5-6, which is in agreement with the number of peaks in the spectrum.
