    • 3 compounds, as well as for the trivalent lighter actinide elements uranium, neptunium and plutonium, have been obtained and their molecular and crystal structure were analysed. In agreement with the IR spectroscopic investigations the actinide and the lanthanide ion up to Dy is ninefold-coordinate, while in the compounds from Ho to Lu the central ion is eightfold-coordinate. The full data will be published in this journal in a separate paper.
