Literature data on the temperature dependence of the e of acetonitrile (Ref. [44 d]) were used to construct the polarity function f = (ε-1)/(2ε + 1) as a function of temperature. Using these data a linear correlation between / and AFM (Eq. (7), Sect. 3.4) was found. It enables us to calculate ΔFM as a function of pressure by using literature data on the dependence of e (Ref. [59]) and hence of f on pressure.
