    • note
    • With regard to the intrinsic structure of the leading edge in the early stage of the relaxing variance, one may consider that, from a pure experimental aspect, care should be taken with the fact that the early part is, clearly, proportional to the convolution of the experimental pulse-to-pulse auto-correlation function (necessary to fix the zero-point of the symmetric self-correlation) and the time-integrated δ-pulse fluorescence response directly related to the second-order populations in the perturbative expansion. By this definition the initial WP prepared at t = 0 is concealed in both the convolution and the correlation operators and does not allow an estimate of its actual intensity contribution to the measuring signal at t = 0.
