    • More elaborate quantum-mechanical treatments (such as a tight-binding calculation and a density-functional calculation with the pseudopotential method) or more time-consuming calculations using empirical potentials recently proposed would provide more precise results for the energies of the structures. However, our main interest lies in the feasibility or plausibility of the structure rather than a detailed comparison of the structural energies. Thus we use the Stillinger-Weber potential because of the simplicity in use in the dynamical quenching calculations
