18. In a recent paper by M. Casas et. al [Phys. Rev. B 50, 15t945 (1994)] the coherence length for two-electron correlation (namely, (Formula presented) of the present paper) was calculated at the mean-field level for a momentum-independent gap energy and compared with available experimental data on cuprate superconductors. Since the data refer to (Formula presented) instead, a comparison of this kind is meaningful as far as (Formula presented) ≃(Formula presented), which we show in the present paper to hold provided (Formula presented) ≳10.
