Unfortunately, the elastic shear anisotropy is not fully determined by A for crystal symmetries lower than cubic. In the particular case of tetragonal symmetry a second independent parameter is needed which is usually defined by the ratio (Formula presented) and refers to the anisotropy in the (001) plane. No information on this ratio can be obtained, however, from the present investigation which is restricted to the (110) plane. Thus, only the parameter defined by Eq. (1) can be determined and compared with the corresponding quantity of the reference system (Formula presented)
