    • Ring substituents of N-acetylglucosamine have little influence on the orientation of fucose and galactose. Also an exchange of N-acetylglucosamine in the sLe' tetrasaccharide for glucose preserves all relevant NOE contacts (e.g., Fuc-H5-Gal-H 2 = 250 pm).
