    • Obviously a greater amount of diphenylhydrazine causes the disappearance of the ESR signal, due to the reduction of 9 to the corresponding hydroxylamine. The reduction of 10 to 9 is an example of the well-known electron transfer process from an electron donor, diphenylhydrazine, to an electron acceptor, quinone imine-N-oxide 10.
