    • We assume solvent is at rest. In more precise formulation, (∂X/∂t) in Eq. (2) will be replaced by the relative permeation velocity (∂X/∂t)-u, with u denoting solvent velocity, and we must solve a coupled system of elastic equation and solvent flow equation.
