-
The coordinates of the chloranilate anions were transformed ; (1) the symmetry operation of the Cl(1) groups was -0.5+x, 0.5-y, -z (ii). The complementary part of this group was generated by the operation of -x, 1-y, -z (ix), which is a centre of symmetry ; (2) the symmetry operation of the Cl(2) group was x, 0.5-y, -0.5+z (i). The complementary part of this group was generated by the operation of -x, -y, -z (x), which is also a centre of symmetry.
