39. In the axial approximation, the prefactors of the k⋅p terms in the Hamiltonian cannot be defined in a unique way, in terms of the band parameters of the cubic Hamiltonian [see footnote 35 of K. For [110], one might choose these prefactors in such a way that the error between the dotted lines and the dashed and solid lines in Fig. 3(c) is minimized.
