Jee WSS (1997) Since 1965, this professor of anatomy at the University of Utah School of Medicine has organized uniquely seminal, annual, multidisciplinary, and international Hard Tissue Workshops. Sponsored by the University of Utah, worldwide they probably influenced how people think about and study skeletal physiology and disease more than any other meetings held in this century. The paradigm mentioned in this text had its genesis there, with input and critique from hundreds of authorities on skeletal physiology, pathology, disease, research, biology, and biomechanics. For such reasons one might well call it the "Utah paradigm." Parts of it have been published in hundreds of journal articles written by dozens of authors.
