Edge fits were done using EXAFSPAK, which treats the main absorption peak and other resonances as pseudo-Voigt peaks (mixture of Lorenztian and Gaussian shapes) and the discontinuous edge step function as the integral of a pseudo-Voigt function. The Ac(III, IV) spectra were fit using one peak plus the step function, while the actinyl XANES fits included a second peak to fit the MS resonance.
