7. In the present experiments the quantities j, wt, Po, and carrier gas inlet pressure were held constant. As column temperature is increased from room temperature (Tm) to another temperature (Tm') the flow rate increases from Fc to Fc'. Considering the carrier gas as an ideal gas Fc' = Fc(Tm'/Tm). Inclusion of this correction leads to slightly different values of ΔH(v→S), but does not improve the fit of the Δ (vs. 1/Tplot.
