17. We used fiber-coupled laser diode arrays (Optopower, Inc.). They provide broadband (Formula presented) 2 nm), high-power (15 W) light at 795 nm while operating at room temperature in a small, robust, low-cost package. We have also used these arrays in polarized (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) magnetic resonance imaging and polarized (Formula presented) nuclear targets.
