    • In the absence of metallic inclusions, for single spinel phase, the magnetization reversal might also be due to domain nucleation; however, the high value of the coercivity point out that the nucleation process requires an energy very close to the corresponding to coherent rotation of the magnetization. The values of coercivity become a little lower than the anisotropy field probably due, as discussed here, to the effect of intense local demagnetizing field. In summary, we should say that according to the remanence value as well as to the coercivity strength the magnetization reversal of the spinel particles seems to occur by coherent magnetization rotation which gives rise to either pure rotation or reversal domain nucleation.
