    • Exciton densities were estimated from the excitation power and an exciton lifetime of 0.2 ns over the whole range of excitation densities. This lifetime was taken from the decay time measured under above band-gap photoexcitation and may be slightly larger than the polariton lifetime under resonant excitation. As a result the estimated values of (Formula presented) are likely to be an upper limit for the exciton density in the QW’s.
