    • One should note however, that this criterion cannot be absolutized, since on blocked electrodes, the nonlinear diffusion problem is mathematically the same as for linear diffusion coupled with a first-order homogeneous reaction. It is mainly a comparison of the behavior of the impedance components in different potential ranges that seems to support the above idea.
